• Safeguarding the legal rights and interests of the Client.

• Analysing facts and identifying potential problems.

• Initiating the formation of bodies for pre-trial consideration and settlement of disputes during the Project implementation.

• Reviewing Contractor notifications of claims against the Client and analysing possible outcomes if such claims are upheld.

• Encouraging parties in conflict to seek new solutions acceptable to all stakeholders.

• Organising negotiations.

• Preparing final documents and formalising agreements (mediation).

• Assisting the Client in any disputes or claims arising with contractors regarding design documentation, works performed, material and equipment supplies, or insurance obligations.

• Preventing the occurrence of potentially contentious situations.
