Energy audit of buildings
Energy audit of buildings is the process of their examination, during which there are determined: energy losses through the building envelope (walls, windows, roof, basement) and in engineering systems; assessment of all elements of the building for compliance with existing standards; analysis of resource consumption is carried out; energy efficiency class is determined. After the audit, we offer measures for thermo-modernization, which ultimately will reduce the payment for the consumption of energy used for heating, hot water, cooling, lighting and other needs.
According to the results of the energy audit, all received information is recorded in the relevant report and (or) energy certificate and transferred to the Client, who, according to these recommendations, can choose priority measures to modernize the building (taking into account the amount of necessary investments, savings and other indicators).
ENERGY AUDIT OF COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS
Trade and entertainment centers, offices, sports and cultural complexes, medical, educational and state institutions are subject to energy audits. All of them have a large area and increased requirements for the indoor climate. These objects are characterized by a high intensity of energy consumption per square meter, thus, they have a huge potential for energy saving. The movement in the direction of energy saving should start with an energy audit.
In the process of energy audit focuses on the difference between the calculated and the actual values of energy consumption of the engineering systems of the building. During development of an action plan, it is necessary to make an amendment to the features of the external climate and take into account the interaction of energy-saving measures, since their simple summation may not only not have the saving effect, but also vice versa lead to an increase in energy consumption.
Based on the results of the energy audit, possible options for upgrading engineering systems are determined and an energy saving program is being developed, including an action plan and feasibility study. Measures are ranked in terms of price/quality ratio, taking into account the payback period of the project
VS PROJECT specialists conduct the following types of energy audits:
- energy audit of buildings and structures of the budget and municipal sphere – schools, kindergartens, universities, hospitals, clinics, sanatoriums, houses of culture, state premises;
- energy audit of apartment buildings, including those where associations of co-owners of apartment buildings and housing cooperatives are created;
- energy audit of business buildings – office centers, shopping centers, warehouses, hotels;
- energy audit of enterprises – a full energy audit of the entire enterprise, separate workshops and production sites, equipment, production facilities, administrative and household complexes, own boiler houses and thermal power station of enterprises;
- energy audit of electric lighting systems – urban street lighting, electric lighting in offices, enterprises, shopping centers and other objects;
- energy surveys of private houses and apartments;
- thermal imaging of an object with recommendations for eliminating heat losses.
